BridgieNix Scheiner is a veteran performer and fierce labor advocate disrupting flawed systems. She owns a small business, performs on the strip, is a member of 2 unions, and has been drawing attention throughout Nevada for highlighting entertainment's direct economic impact on all state programs, often overlooked, and how it correlates to the majority of Nevada's issues — formerly she was a university administrator, served on student government as President Pro Tempore, spearheaded USG finance committee, was the Conservatory of Performing Arts rep, & on Judicial board at Point Park University. She later worked at a talent agency, has extensive experience as an entertainment producer, and has had many blue collar jobs. Outside of labor experience, she has abundant non-profit work & knows how to grow a deficit into a profit.
She is uniquely fit for Lieutenant Governor, a role overseeing tourism & economic development, Nevada's film office, and public land. As the only statewide candidate with entertainment economic expertise, she warns: “Entertainment revenue funds our hospitals, roads, veteran benefits, healthcare, and schools. Hire a budget-oriented entertainer to generate lasting revenue.”
Without industry insight serving on the Governor's Cabinet, NV's economy faces collapse. The current employment crisis that Southern Nevada faces is downplayed by news and politicians. "By the time other leaders figure it out, it will be too late. They are all in a legislative echo chamber and far removed from what construction workers, hospitality, & entertainers face statewide."
There are 0 plans by others to replace lost jobs. BridgieNix created a plan that generates the income needed to fund quality education, transportation, water conservation, rural hospitals, renovate tourism, arts, healthcare, & high paying jobs. Opponents blame Trump, which while true, doesn't help us in the now. We are seeing unprecedented numbers of hunger, foreclosures, and evictions. Other candidates across all parties minimize this issue because they don't know about it or don't know how to fix it.
